SpaceX successfully completed two Falcon 9 launches in one weekendby Circa News

SpaceX successfully launched two Falcon 9 rockets over the weekend. Sunday's rocket lifted off from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California at 1:25 p.m. PDT.

It was charged with carrying 10 satellites for Iridium Communications. Iridium plans to launch 75 new satellites for its mobile voice and data communications system by mid-2018. Iridium said the new network will enable everyone on Earth to have "real-time connections between people, organizations and assets to and from anywhere."

On Friday, the Falcon 9 launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida and carried a communications satellite for Bulgaria into orbit. Its first stage was recovered after landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic.

Elon Musk, who founded SpaceX, said he believes reusing components of used rockets will help bring down the cost of space launches.

Here's a look at the launch in Florida.
